The theme: “There is a swimming pool next to my house”
The aims of the lesson: to form skills in monologue and dialogue speech, to practice pupils to describe their own house and rooms, to train in using construction “there is/there are” in the theme. To introduce pupils with the structure “I want to”.
The development objectives: to develop pupils’ ability in working in pairs and individually, to develop pupils’ skills and habits in understanding, reading and oral speech.
Methods of lesson: individual work, group work, pair work ,question-answer.
Type of the lesson: presentation of the new theme, the mixed lesson.
Visual aids: an interactive board, pictures, cards.
