Now, let’s continue our lesson.But first of all let’s revise some material you have learned before. I want to check up your homework. What was your homework?

Now, pupils let’s continue our lesson. At the previous lesson you learnt some interesting things about landscape, population and typical animals and plants of Kazakhstan. Before beginning the lesson I want to put you some questions which connects with the previous lesson. Are you ready? Let’s continue our lesson. Today we are going to speak about the nature of Almaty. We’ll learn new words, then we get new information about Almaty. I think we know Almaty very well. Now, answer my questions

Now, pupils pay attention at the interactive board. We know Almaty is the largest city and It is located in Kazakhstan.
It is a green city. The word Almaty means with apple in Kazakh. Previously the city was called Alma-Ata that is father of apples .Now will speak about the Nature of Almaty. We know Almaty has many such beautiful and famous places.
One of the most interesting place in Almaty is Talgar peak. It is a highest peak. The modern reserve located in the territory of Talgar was founded in1964.It is the home of such animals as deer eagles, wild sheep, arkhar and the other animals and birds. Koktobe is 1070 meters high above the sea level. It is covered with grass and bushes. The TV complex is located on the slopes of Koktobe. . They are charyn river and Ulken Almaty lake. Medeu is the world ‘s famous skating rink. It was built in 1972. It’s 10.500 sq. meter ice area. The Medeu gorge, located at 1520-1750 meters in the kishkene Almaty river valley, kim asar on the west, kabyrgatau on its east and kunbel on the south – east. Mountain ski resort Shymbulak is situated at 2200-2500 meters in the picturesque Shymbulak Gorge. It operates 1.500 meters cableway, which takes you to a height of 3,163 meters to the peak Talgar. From Shymbulak road leads to the snowy peaks, popular with climbers and mountain climbers.

Open your students book on page 101 exercise 3 and at first let’s divide our class into three groups. First group read the text Medeu the second group read the text Medeu at the next paragraph, third group read the text about Shymbulak. Reading the text, pay attention the numbers. What does these numbers mean? I’ll take you five minuts.
Now, who is ready? Thank you, you were active. The next part of our lesson is listening the text. We are going to listen the text about Almaty and complete the text with the necessary words. Now all of you listen attentively please.
