Students:- We can read,we can write We can speak English too We love learning English And what about you? Teacher greets learners and then students take their places. Teacher asks students:-How are you? to find out their mood at the beginning of the lesson; students choose one of the smiles they see on the board and the questions. Teacher introduces lesson objectives to the students Show a short video about school and classroom objects and ask learners to guess the topic of the lesson |

Learners are going to learn the words: a book, a pen, a bag, a rubber, a ruler, a desk , a chair, a window, a door, a notebook Ask learners to come to the middle of the class holding one card(i.e desk) Teacher: What’s this? It’s a desk. Repeat ”desk” Learners: ”desk”(repeat 2,3 times) Teacher: Can you see a book in the classroom? Teacher: Yes! Good job! Repeat the same activity with the rest of the cards |

| PRE-LEARNING (BT: explain)
Teacher pre-teaches using visual aids: desk chair book pen bag etc… Differentiation: The flexible pacing of this activity allows for some learners to go faster and some slower PRACTICE (IW) There are flashcards on the walls. Learners stand up and come to the teacher. Teacher explains the rules and after it says: “Boys go to the ruler, girls go to the desk” Then girls say commands to boys and boys say commands to girls. (GW) Now we shall count from 20-50. -We know count 1-20, Repeat after me 20-50 (W)Speaking Bingo Questions How many days are there in a week? How many fingers have I got? How many hours are there in a day? How many month are there in a year? 10-ten 20-twenty 30- thirty 40-forty 50-fifty Individual work: give each student sheet of paper ask students to spend 3-5 minutes and draw object things how many things can you see in the classroom monitor student’s progress (W) SINGING Sing a song (BT: apply) “In my bag, bag, bag” CD1 Divide class into two small groups. Children take their rubbers, rulers and books. There are two chairs in the center one is for one group. When learners listen to the name of an object they have to put it on the chair.
