           3.1. «Must» модалды етістігін түсіндіру /ақпарат әдісі/

а) Граматикалық тұрғыда мағынасын ашып түсіндіру;

Must [mʌst] модальді етістігі жүктелген міндетті, тыйым салынған немесе қатаң түрде бекітілген нұсқауды, бұйрықты айтып жеткізу кезінде қолданылады. Must етістігінің болымсыз түрі: mus not [mʌsnt].

Must модальді етістігі өткен шақты қолданылмайды. Оның орнына баламалы тіркестер қолданылады. Мысалы: have to, allowed to.

III. Explanation of the new lesson

 

           3.1. Modal verb :  “MUST”

a) to introduce them with new grammar and to understand how to use

 

“Must” is most commonly used to express certainty. It can also be used to express necessity or strong recommendation, although native speakers prefer the more flexible form “have to.” “Must not” can be used to prohibit actions, but this sounds very severe; speakers prefer to use softer modal verbs such as “should not” or “ought not” to dissuade rather than prohibit.

This must be the right address!

Students must pass an entrance examination to study at this school.
