THE STAR HOUR COMPETITION<\/strong><\/p>\n

The objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. To develop students` knowledge about English-speaking countries;<\/li>\n
  2. To develop their speaking and thinking skills;<\/li>\n
  3. To train their memory.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Introduction:<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 Glad to meet you, dear boys and girls. Today we are having a competition: \u201cThe Star Hour\u201d and each of you will take part in it. Who wants to introduce themselves and speak about their hobby, sing a song or recite a poem? Use this chance to win your first golden star.<\/p>\n

    PART I \u2013 Flags & Countries<\/strong><\/p>\n

     <\/p>\n

    There are the flags of six countries: 1 \u2013 the USA, 2 \u2013 Russia, 3 \u2013 New Zealand, 4 \u2013 the UK, 5 \u2013 Canada, 6 \u2013 England.<\/p>\n

    Answer my questions and raise a card with the number of the country I\u2019ll be speaking about. You\u2019ll get a red star for the right answer, and if you have the first correct answer you\u2019ll get a golden star.<\/p>\n
