Some of those things below:

Cloud, rain, car, plant, home, fish, bird, people, broken bottle etc. People are doing harmful things, to our land, our water and even our air. They are making pollution.

Give students a moment to look at the picture and think about the things they can see.

Can of lemonade, soft drink, baked beans

Bottle of milk, mineral water, wine

Bag of oranges, potatoes, sweets,

Packet of biscuits, butter, sugar

Carton of fruit juice, ice cream

Box of tissues, eggs .

Now we shall do some group work. Work in groups of three.

The first group . You must answer the questions What is the environment? How many words can you remember for things in the environment?

The environment is:

Humans and human activity

The air around the Earth

The climate and weather

Rocks and soil

Animals and where they live

Trees, plants, and flowers

The water in our rivers, seas, and oceans

The second group-Stopping Litter. Look at the picture and and express your opinions. Do experiment .

When you are at a beach, pond or marsh or on the ocean , don’t put the wrong things in the water.

Some things may sink. People and animals will not know what is in the water.

Many things will end up on the shore. Then our land will not be beautiful anymore. I am jumping up and down because I am angry. It is sad to see trash in, on, or near the water.

The burning of oil makes smoke that has sulphur dioxide in it. Some more sulphur dioxide can make people sick.

The third group-How can we help the environment? Share your ideas.

We should recycle bottlesand cans

We mustn’t go everywhere by car.

We must put cans and paper in the recycling bins.

Ok , thanks for everyone.

So, if you are ready, we’ll continue our lesson with grammar revision. You know that modal verbs are used to show the speaker’s attitude toward the actions or state indicated by the infinitive.

We use should or shouldn’t when we give advice. We use must or must not for rules and obligations. Bird dropping and leaves on the roof can get into our drinking water.Too many chemicals and too much dirt in drinking water can make people sick.

The green hat – focuses on creativity

You can help to keep water clean. One way is to store it in the ground or in the tank by not using too much. Take short showers. Taking a short shower I am singing.

The blue hat-is used to manage the thinking process.

We need more laws to help clean up our land, water, and air.
